Personal Training Course Costs: Compare Your Options

How much does a personal training course cost? The answer depends on the qualifications you need, what is included and how you choose to pay. This guide compares Yorkshire PT Academy’s listed course purchase prices and explains the questions to ask before enrolling. These are our prices, not a market-wide comparison of training providers.

Compare our fitness course prices

The prices below reflect the course listings reviewed on 15 October 2026. Check each linked product page for the latest purchase price and confirm the total fees with admissions before enrolling.

Yorkshire PT Academy course purchase prices
Course Listed price Learning focus
Level 2 Fitness Instructor £749 Anatomy basics, exercise instruction, safe practice and client assessment.
Level 3 Personal Training £999 Advanced programming, nutrition guidance and personalised client support.
Level 3 Exercise Referral £699 Exercise programming, client monitoring and risk management for clients with medical conditions.
Complete Fitness Career Package £1,250 Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Level 3 Personal Training and Level 3 Exercise Referral.

Choose the qualifications you need

The lowest headline price is not necessarily the right route for your goals. If you are new to fitness qualifications, explore the Level 2 foundations and ask which entry requirements apply to Level 3. If you already hold a relevant qualification, ask admissions whether you meet the requirements for the course you want.

The Complete Fitness Career Package includes three courses, so compare its contents with the individual qualifications you actually need. Do not assume every learner needs every course or that a package removes the need to check entry requirements. Our Level 2 vs Level 3 comparison can help you understand the differences.

What should you check is included?

Before paying, ask for a clear breakdown of tuition, learning materials, tutor support, assessments and certification. Confirm whether there are additional charges for resits, extensions, practical assessment arrangements or anything else you may need. These are questions to ask, not a statement that extra charges apply to our courses.

Also consider your own study costs, such as travel, equipment access and the time you can set aside each week. Ask how practical assessments work and which online or in-person options are available for your chosen qualification. Comparing the full arrangements gives you a more useful picture than comparing prices alone.

Paying your course fees in full

Yorkshire PT Academy offers a pay-in-full option. Use the course product page as your starting point, then confirm the current total payable and what is included before enrolling. Paying in full is separate from borrowing through student finance.

If you want to ask about instalments, contact admissions for current availability and a written payment schedule showing the deposit, number of payments and total payable. Do not assume that instalment terms or totals are the same as a pay-in-full purchase.

Using repayable student finance

Eligible learners on eligible courses can explore a repayable student finance loan. This is not a grant or free training. Confirm the exact scheme, course eligibility, amount borrowed and applicable repayment terms before accepting any agreement.

The purchase prices in this guide are not a statement of the amount you may borrow or ultimately repay. Ask for the information relevant to your chosen course rather than assuming that all courses qualify or that finance approval is automatic. Read our student finance information and review the official terms for the loan offered to you.

Does paying for a course guarantee a job?

No. A qualification supports your learning and development, but it does not guarantee employment, clients or earnings. Choose training for its relevance to your goals, the qualification awarded, assessment arrangements and support. Check the requirements of employers or professional insurers relevant to your intended work.
